A big part of women has symptoms which are considered normal but if you have PMS you can feel depressed, anxious or uncomfortable, have a feeling of not getting through problems of work or at home, these symptoms can be worse some months or less significant in others.

What are the signs or symptoms?

These symptoms may vary, appear or disappear within months, and some you may feel it worse:

What causes PMS?

Nowadays the cause of PMS is unknown but there are some factors that tend to influence in having these symptoms like hormonal levels change during menstrual cycle or dietary deficiencies and eating disorders, lack of vitamins and minerals, excessive alcohol consumption, liquid retention or lack of energy.

Premenstrual Syndrome is not caused by stress or psychological problems but these might worsen with the appearance of this.

It affects more commonly in women between 30 and 40 years, with children, background including depression, anxiety, overweight and alcoholism. 

How can I prevent this?

You can prevent these symptoms in a natural way, changing your daily habits, having more healthy habits.

Increasing your fruit and vegetables consumption, drinking more fluids, lowering high in sodium food to avoid liquids retention.
