The best foods to boost it with these helpful tips from Ceci Basurto - Clinical Nutritionist

Coronavirus and your Immune System!

Because of the warning stage caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19), people have become increasingly interested (and curious) in learning to recognize which foods are rich in vitamins and minerals that help our bodies protect us from infection and boosting our immune system.

The Immune System is the body's defense mechanism to fight infections, agents such as viruses and bacteria to prevent disease. When it comes to strengthening our Immune System, there is no one single food that contains everything we need, that is why the variation, choice, and combination of foods that we consume plays a fundamental role in making it happen.

Cecilia Basurto, a Nutritionist, a specialist in Clinical and Sports Nutrition, explained the subject by mentioning foods full of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are our best weapon of natural defense even more in times of Coronavirus.
