Traumatology
Traumatology is the branch of surgery that deals with injured patients, usually on an emergency basis. Patients who have suffered significant physical trauma, as from a car accident, may be cared for in our traumatology unit, as they usually experience damage or loss of mobility accompanied by a combination of severe pain. The Traumatology division of BlueNetHospitals Los Cabos attends to the treatment of acute musculoskeletal system injuries and diseases around the clock. All musculoskeletal system injuries, including fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, joint inflammations, and acute pain states of the musculoskeletal system are examined and treated at the traumatology ward, outpatient clinic, and operating room. Patients with multiple injuries comprise the most challenging patient group, and their treatment requires the expertise and co-operation of several medical specialties.  When we receive a patient in the BlueNetHospitals Emergency Room with these signs, the hospital's special Trauma Team is in charge of the treatment at first. In addition to the experienced, skilled staff, who receive regular training, the treatment of patients is based on modern treatment methods and equipment.
