5 Meals per day? Which ones should you eat?

Do We feed efficiently? 

Eating 5 times a day keeps you active and also improves your metabolism, some specific types of food at different times of the day can help you to stay healthy.

 

Breakfast

The breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

 

An adequate breakfast gives you the energy that we need to start the day. It must contain fiber, calcium, protein and vitamin C; it's better if these are not acids or aggressive fruits for the body, look for whole, organic and seasonal food.

  

Midday

It is recommended a collation between 100 and 200 calories

 

Having something for mid-morning will prevent hunger for a few hours before your meal, also a the bad mood! It will make you perform better on tasks, recommended foods must be between 100 and 200 calories.

 

Lunch

A balanced meal with water, supports your metabolism

 

It is preferable to have a soup or any non-solid food, accompanied by a stew with meat, fish or vegetables; ending with a portion of normal dessert. It is important to drink ebough water during the meal for an optimal digestion.

 

Snack

The whole meal is essential for a nutritious diet

 

For mid-morning, in the middle of the afternoon you can feel hungry, a glass of milk with crackers, fruit or yoghurt; these are an excellent choice.
 

Dinner

It is important to eat 1 hour before bedtime to avoid insomnia and overload in the stomach

 

Dinner must include mild foods, to be able to fall asleep because digestion plays a significant part in resting. It is recommended to avoid fat, so it is better to eat steam, baked, grilled, microwaved or boiled food; it is always recommended to have dinner at least 1 hour before bed.

 

REMEMBER: Drink between 1 and 2 liters of water per day; this will help to optimize your digestion and that your metabolism work in a correct way. For any situation, do not hesitate to visit your nutritionist's.
